Adrianna Yanuziello
The founder and artistic director of The Dance Migration has devoted much of her time to studying, choreographing and promoting Brazilian culture in Toronto and abroad.
Adrianna began her dancing career at a very young age. In 2006, she received her BFA in Dance from Ryerson University and is now teaching all over the GTA. Adrianna also travels back and forth from Brazil on a yearly basis to further her studies with master teachers from Bale Folklorico da Bahia, and Escola de Danca in Salvador, Bahia. She has taught numerous workshops within Canada, Israel, and Brazil.
Yanuziello is currently working in conjunction with Master teacher Rosangela Silvestre, of the Silvestre Link, with the goal of building a global awareness of Contemporary Brazilian Dance. She has choreographed and danced in her production of Roots of Bahia this past August at Lula Lounge, Toronto International Dance Festival, A Choreographers Ball, and Brazil Fest.
Also, she has performed in Brazil for the 2007 Carnival with the ever famous band Olodum.
